FLIGHT TO THE POLE

The Daily Chronicle says Amundsen states ho expects the flight to the Pole will begin in the middle of July, when there is most water around the Pole, and end in the middle of August. All three aeroplanes will bo fitted with skis so as to be able to take off from land, on water, ice. or snow. The flight from Pisa to Spitsbergen, 2300 miles, will be an acid test.
