Y. M. C. A. CLUB
The annual meeting of the Y.M.C.A. ping pong club was held on Monday evening, Mr D. Trathen presiding. There was ;i fair attendance of members and a strong club is assured for this winter’s play. The subscription has been fixed at a low rale, both for adults and juniors. The past season was a most successful one, the Y.M.C.A. club winning 8 of the 9 matches played, the remaining one being drawn. The opening night for this season has been fixed for Tuesday, June 24th., and will take the form of a social gathering. Play will commence at 7.30 p.m. in the Y.M.C.A Hall, when a big attendance is anticipated. ‘
