PAST DISTRICT GRANDMASTER'S LODGE
The Grand Master of the New Zealand Branch Manchester Unity presided at a meeting of Past District Grand Masters held in the Oddfellows Hall Waimea Street on Tuesday evening. The Grand Master was supported by P.G.M. Pro. J. Marshall (Ashley) and. P.D.G.M. Bro. T. Aitken (Auckland). The Deputy Grand Master Bro. A. G. Shrimpton was supported by P.D.G.M. Bro. C. J. De Lacy and P.D.G.M. Bro. A. L. Roberts. P.D.GiM. Bro. W. I. Clark officiated as . Guardian and P.D.G.M. Bro. T. Archbold as Warden. Twentyfive Past District Grand Masters were present, representing every district in •the branch, with the exception of Marlborough. On'the Grand Master’s warrant being read Bro. Marshall declared the meeting open. j Bro. J. McLeod, P.G.M., and Bro. F. t-Titchard, P.D.GAL, were appointed conductors.
The following candidates were examined and being qualified were instructed and raised to the Degree of Past District Grand Master: Bro; G. J. Cullen (North Canterbury), C. W. Allen (Taranaki), E. laddie (Wanganui), T. Bruce (Wanganui), W. Liddle (Nelson), F- Mangin (Ashburton). A. Cross (Nelson), H. E. Stewart (Nelson), F. Graham (Nelson), K. N. Black (Nelson).
