LONDON, April 7. The Esperance Hay’s apples are in good condition, but there is considerable bitter pit in both West Australian and Victorian Cleopatras, also: seme black spot- in West Australian Jonathans. The market is fairly brisk. ’West- Australian Cleopatras 13s 6d to 16s, some 20s; Jonathans 13s to 15s; Dunns 16c to 17s; Cox Orange 13s to T6g Victorians about the same.
HOME‘GROWERS AND IMPORTED FRUIT
LONDON, April 8. The Cambridgeshire Fruitgrowers’ Association, chiefly apple growers, are making their first attempt at co-opera-tion, by which they hope successfully to compete against imported fruit. The Association is establishing a - grading, branding and distributing centre.
