The New Zealand Fanners’ Co-op. report ori their fortnightly stock sale at Richmond as follows: —A medium yarding of stock came forward, which met with good competition, fat sheen being in keen demand. Several good young dairy cows wore offered, but met a dull market. The following prices were realised : Extra prime heavy weight wethers £O/0, good heavy fat wethers, 38/5, lighter 30/0 to 34/0. Prime ewes 35/6. light fat ewes and wethers, 29/9 to 3010. store wethers and ewes, 24/3. Good young dairy cow, £6/15/-.

Dalgoty and Co., Ltd., report having received ' the following cable from their London house under date of the 29th August: Tallow.—l2so casks of tallow offered, 850 casks sold. Since our last, wire prices average 3d per cvvt. higher. WELLINGTON MARKETS W. Burl)idge and Co. report:— Prices for vegetables keeping up for both root and green; new potatoes yesterday sold at 7-jd per lb. and green peas 5/2 per peek of 7 lbs. Apples have improved slightly. Eggs' are slow of sale at lower values. Prices are as follows: Delicious dean, 9/- to 11/-, spot 5/- to 7/-; Stunners, dean, 6/- to 7/6, spot, 3/6 to 5/-; Dohertys, 5/- to 7/6; Washingtons, 6/- to 8/-, small, 4/- to 6/-. Pears: Winter Coles, 10/- to .12/-; Conference, 6/- to 8/-; Vickers, 4/6 to 5/6 bushel cases.
