GIANT PACKET OF NEEDLES
The Worshipful Company of Needlemakers of London have presented a handsome needlecasc lo the Lady Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. The case is manufactured of the finest velvet suede with locks and catches in solid gold,, and is enclosed in an outer case of art silk, and contains 1000 of the best gold eyed needles of all varieties, manufactured by Henry Milward and Sons Ltd., the wellknown needle manufacturers. An inscription in gold lettering appears on the back of Hie case, consisting of tho arms of the company and the wording ‘Presented to the' Lady Elizabeth BowesLyon on the occasion of her marriage to 11.R.11. The Duke of York.” A deputation from tho Company presented the gift to H.R.H. The Duko of York and the Lady Elizabeth BowesLyon at Buckingham Palace.
