The Imperial Tobacco Coy. of Britain and Ireland decided to give the sharei holders a bonus of one new £1 share, lor ■'everv three held. As issued the ordinary "share capital is £22,472.000. This means a bonus total of £7,490,000. An order was made for the distribution of part of the reserve shown in the lastbalance sheet at £12,000,000, which will he capitalised. The net trading profit last year was £7.194.000 and a dividend :• was declared of 22i per cent tax free. I Switch on to lower-priced lamps, but not lower quality.
