ANGLO-AEMRICAN DEBT AGREEMENT

WASHINGTON, April 18.. Sir A. Geddes informed Mr Mellon that Britain was ready at any time' to conclude the debt agreement formalities. The Ambassador's action is thought to be due to the. prevalence of reports that the American Treasury was uneasy over the delay in view of the recent political situation in London, when.'the Government was threatened with a crisis.
