And (lie darkness falls on the glow, When it's silence where, ringa I'osey played, Tell me, where does old Santa go?
la he weary with work for the world's little fists. That stretch their plump lingers again? Is old Santa, hobbling away toward home On prop of peppermint cane?
Do you think he forgets and is happy now, Far away on his ice-bound strand? ‘Til tell you,” ho says, ‘‘where my home is for aye— In the children’s hearts, my own land !”
