REBEL TRAIN WRECKERS

LONDON, Dec. 21. .Rebel train wreckers set fire to the Bcliasl-Dublin express near Dundalk. They compelled the passengers to alight, sprinkled the .carriages petrol, switched the train .down the Jine and sent her full speed,ahead. A Tree State munitions train collided with the burning train, the engines and leading waggons of which overturned. Wreckers cut off all communication with Dublin. A.-large Christmas mail from Ulster to Britain was destroyed with the express. It is reported that seven railwaymen and postal officers are missing since the outrage. LONDON. Dec. 21.
The rebels' train outrage near,. Dundalk was the most serious'over attempt - ed. The raiders first held up the station staff at Castlebellingham and then ■) goods train which was sent off without a driver. The - train was wrecked and blocked both Jincs. Then a mail train was held up and set on lire and sent off. It ran. into the wrecked goods train and the whole mass blared for several- hours.
The raiders cleared oil after the collision- The damage amounts to many thousands and includes all the passengers' luggage.
