The Parliamentary commission of inquiry into war expenses has been carrying out its duties in a, desultory fashion and Signor Mussolini has issued a decree demanding a definite report by 31st December. He forbids leakage of contents of the report before presentation to Parliament. Members of the commission arc threatened with a fine of fifty thousand lire and penal prosecution if they divulge the findings.
