MESSAGE FROM WARATAH

CAPETOWN, Nov. 16. Tiie mysterious disappearance of the liner Waratah, which left Dnrba n for Capetown on 2 r V h July,, 190 ft and was never heard of again, is recalled by the discovery in Table Bay of a bottle which has apparently been a long time in the water. It was stopped with lead and contained a paper bearing tho words, written in pencil, “Send help; starving on Waratah on island in Antarctic.” The message is generally believed to be a hoax.
