PROPORTIONAL REPRESENTATION
(To the Editor)
Sir, —I understand Mr Atmore is in favour of proportional representation and (hat the three electorates would he Wairau, Nelson and Motueko. At the last election Messrs McCalluni, Atmore and /Hudson elected against opposition from each political party, but in each case neither of the above members secured a majority of solid votes. Now the numbers polled in the above constituencies should be a guide as to what the result would have been under proportional representation. Would Mr Atmore or Mr Moft'att kindly be good enough to make known the result for the benefit of your readers, one of whom is somewhat CURIOUS.
