ARRETS (United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 27. Business is unusually brisk in the produce trade for this time of the year, and indications are that it will continue so for some time. White clover, ryegrass and cow grass are in keen demand, and fowl wheat, is selling freely. LONDON WOOL SALES The local branch of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd., have, received the following cablegram from their London house, under date 26th inst: — ‘‘Wool sales closed firmly. Compared with last sides’ closing rales prices are higher for merino scorned by about 10 per cent ; medium and inferior merino and line crossbred scoured about 10 to 15 per cent; medium crossbred greasy 15 to 20 per cent.” Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated 26th October, 1922: —
