SEA SCOUTS
A large and interested atimenre-listen-ed to an account of the work of the Italian Alpini during the war, given by Captain S'. A Wheeler in the Port Mission Hall last evening. From the pictures used in illustrating the lecture the audience were able to more fully realise the difficulties that, are to be mot with in this type of warfare. As a preliminary to the lecture some lantern slides prepared by the Iron Duke Sea Scouts illustrating their work were shown, and a short account of the work of the Troop given. The proceeds were, in aid of the Troop funds tor entertaining the Masterton Y.M C.A. Scouts who are visiting here for Christmas Camp.
