PING PONG AT THE Y.M.C.A.
‘ In spite of the stormy night a large number wended their way to the y.M.C.A. Gymnasium last night, arid ' were well repaid for venturing out. The draw for the tournament resulted in some excellent games right from the start to the finish. The ladies’ final between Mrs Trathen and Mrs Jones resulted in a win for Mrs Trathen after an interesting game by 30—20. The final 4or the men’s tournament between Mr W. E.- Arnold and Mr J. Strong resulted in a,' win for Mr Arnold after a very close and exciting game; the final score ’being 30—28. During the course of the evening the Ladies’ Auxiliary served supper to the players and visitors.
