Thomas Nelson Millar, charged at the Police Court that he. mad© counterfeit coin, with intent to make it pass fop current silver coin, was remanded to October 19th. The Chief-Detective opposed the application, for bail, and wild counterfeit coin had been circulating throughout the Dominion for same months. Quit© a lot of counterfeit coin was found on the premises where accused was arrested. He admitted having- freely circulated counterfeit coin about the city.
