MR LLOYDCEORGE TO SPEAK AT MANCHESTER ft LONDON. Oct. 10. The Reform Club at Manchester gives a- luncheon to Mr Lloyd George on Saturday. The Premier is expected to deliver* an important speech on home and foreign policy. Mr Chamberlain on Eriday deals with the Near East at Birmingham Conservative Club. There is a significance in this arranged luncheon for the Prime Minister, for in Manchester most vigorous elforts have been made to bring about a reunion between the Coalition Liberals and the Wee Frees. Mr Lloyd George is expected to justify his policy, answer his critics ,and reply to a recent series of Conservative attacks. Some newspapers think the speech may be soemtliing more than apologia, and may be a manifesto recognising a new situation.
