KADFIELD-PADDON RACE
(United Press Association) WANGANUI, This Day. •’ The final deposits of £2OO per man have boon lodged with the stakeholder on behalf of Hadfield and Paddon in connection with next Tuesday’s race for the world’s addling championship and £SOO aside. Hadfield has finished liis inird work on the river and is now taking things steadily. Paddon is continuing solid work until Friday. Both men appear very fit. '
