The .railway working account for the period April Ist, 19254 to‘March 31»t, 1932, discloses that th© total * revenue from all lines in the-Dominion amounted to £6,138,413 and The expenditure to £5,794,431, the credit; balance being £343.982. The revenue from the North Island , lines was £3,722,282, the expenditure £3,232,299,' • and the credit £480,073. The South Island revenue was £2,416,130,: expenditure £2,552,22.1, and the debit. £136,091.
