The route of Mi- Storey’s funeral from the Cathedral to the railway stallion for several hours before ti|e cortege moved was lined with densfc crowds. After an impressive service at the Cathedral, conducted by the Dean and Primate of Sydney, the procession, which wvas headed by the fire brigade band, and three thousand marching unionists left for the cemetery. At the railway station special trams were waiting for those, marching. The Cathedral, where the body lay in state, was visited by many thousands. It -was one of the largest and most representative funerals held in the State, lour motor "cars being necessary for the floral tributes. Members of the. Federal Labour Parly were absent, the secretary tele-* graphing that they were unable to attend owing to tho critical position in the. House of Representatives .
