DOVEDALE (From Our Own Correspondent.) A very successful social and dance was held in the Dovodulc Hall on Friday last in aid of the newly-formed Football Club, and despite the .stormyweather there was a good attendance from the surrounding districts, Mr and Mrs Kenyon snpplieid the music, dancing being kept up till an cail\ hour in tho morning^ ORINOCO At the monthly _ meeting of the Orinoco School Committee, many matters of interest came_under discussion. It was decided to go into the matter of improving the school grounds by the planting of suitable shrubs, etc., and hv doing seme necessary shingling at the main entrance. The chairman s action at the meeting called by the Education Board to adjust certain boundaries, was endorsed. It was decided to join the Motuoka District School Committees’ Association. Several outstanding accounts were passed for payment, and the meeting terminated with a discussion on geneial school matters.
