WELLINGTON, This Day. At the Supremo Court, William Grant, charged with escaping from 'custody at Wellington and with n violent assault on a Chinaman at Invercargill, was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment and declared an‘'habitual criminal; Philip Paul, bigamy, three years’ reformative treatment; Henry Turner, forgery, .12 months; James Gresen, theft and forgery, two years. '
