Sii, —in your issue ot December Ist l!)20 you very kindly published my note drawing attention to the. fact thai the Government eheipies received by farmers for surplus wool profits only represented 10,8 in the pound of the amount to which the woolgrowers were legally entitled. The writer also suggested that the ''armors' Union should take this niaftei tip; but we have not yet heard of any movement in this uinv/ion. Therefore, at the risk of again being •'not understood" as ''a brother born for adversity," .1 will \eiiture to hope that, through your courtesy, Sir, the appended correspondence will show how easily a few pounds-which in the aggregate means some thousands lor Nelson farmers--may be reoared ami surely appreciated oy i: t'uy of cur brothor-iariiiers, too, these hard limes.—■ I am. etc.
