ANNESBROOK RAILWAY CROSSING DEATH TRAP
Further narrow shaves A motor car driven by a woman, had a fairly narrow escape at Annesbvook railway crossing yesterday. It was pulled up only a short distance lioin the line. The leading honsoMn a dray proceeding to Stoke th(> other day had ;v narrow escape at the Annoshrook crossing by Hie dangerous .single engine known in the vicinity as the “coffee pot.” The driver did not hear the approach of the engine, and just managed to slew Hie horse round as it was almost on the line. It is a wonder the engine did rv't crash right, into Hie horse.
