In tlie 1 rouse of Commons, Colonel Amery said the total applications for ex-service men’s passages under the Government scheme of settlement overseas amounted to 75,522, The number finally approved by representatives of the overseas Governments was 20,548. Free passage vouchers were issued to 25,491.
