COMING SEASON’S PROSPECTS

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day A poor season is predicted for Sturmer and Wolseley apples this year. The CQ.U96 probably is the very heavy crop last year and the interference by what may be termed “the false spring.” 'Phis year Jonathans are said; to he firmly budded, but generally the apple season may bo poor. In private gardens in the city, some trees have not come into blossom at all. Pears, as usual; have blossomed freely.
