CHILD WELFARE CONFERENCE,
The Hon. C. J. Parr, in addressing the biennial conference of the Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Women and Children, said: “If you were to see the reports from the school medical officers you would be surprised at the large percentage of children who are suffering from bad teeth and all sorts of other diseases, due largely to .malnutrition and neglect in the earliest years.” Malnutrition does not necessarily mean lack of food, but lack of proper food. Gerstena-—made from the oat — contains nil the essentials for the children’s first meal. It makes bone and. muscle, supplies natural heat to the blood, and quickens and energises the brain. thus fitting the little ones for a healthy life of work apd play. Mothers, guard your children. Let Gerstena make, them strong and active. Get a bag to-day.
