TENNIS
(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Australian & N.Z. Cable Association) LONDON, June lo Kingscote, in a letter to the Lawn Tenuis Association, admits that Lycett has . undeniable , Idvtli''-'qualifica-tions to play for the British Isles, hut it is not" in-accordance with the spirit of the law that he should be included in the Davis Cup team. He is a magpificent doubles player and would undoubtedly strengthen Britain;; but it would he better to lose .the Cup without Lycett’s assistance than to win with it while Ids qualifications are not unanimously accepted, particular ly by Australasia. I suggest that the Australasian Dawn Ten ids Association be approached by letter, not cable, with a view to 'determining in a friendly spirit illicit country Lycett should play for. If Australasia agrees to the British isles’ prior claims, tiiod ■ Lycett’s claim for inclusion I should be considered in. 1 921, but not i in 1920. \
