UNITED STATES OIL CORPORATION

Cable Association) WASHINGTON, June 15 A Bill was introduced _ in the Senate providing for the formation of the United States Oil Corporation to develop the oil resources in foreign countries. The Corporation would give the United States The preferential right to take all the supplies at mar* ket prices. American citizens- would own the majority of the stock. The Corporation’s president would appoint the Corporation’s officers. : s The Secretary for the Interior, Mr Payne, sent a letter to the Senate objecting to these provisions, but indicating that the administration otherwise icgards the measure favourable.
