Satisfactory arrangements having been made for the ■ use of telegraph wires, the chess match witii V\ imi is being played, off on the ings of Saturday, June 19th aim and 26th the Nelson players 'meeting as usual at the Nelson Bowling 'Cubs pavilion. The twelve players will be selected from th'e following list - Messrs E. H. Severno, G. C- I>odcl C B. Trathcn, W. S. Angus, Crilnn, C. T. Kemp, A. 15. C’ressweH, C. N. M 1kinsnn. J. D‘. Kemp, J. fl V. Allport, A. Clausen, L. Hams and TC C- Scott. The. order the above is approximately correct, but owing to the difficulty of P mnng one or two in their correct positions, tinwill not be finally fixed "nth &omc tu games are played this week.
