WAIMEA COUNTY COUNCIL SPECIAL ORDER PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Waimea County Council,, held at its Office in the City of Nelson, on the 6th day of May, 1920, the following resolution was passed:— “That in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 23 of ‘The Counties Act, 1908,’ the Waimea County Council resolved, by way of Special Order as follows “‘That the present division of the Waimea County into SIX Ridings be revoked, and that in lieu thereof the Said County be divided into NINE Ridings, to bo called respectively Wangamoa Riding, Stoke Riding, Appleby Riding, Moutere Riding, Motneka Riding, Dovedale Riding, Wangapeka Riding, Motnpiko Riding and Wai-iti Riding.’ “The Said Waimea County Council shall consist of NINE Members, who shall be elected as follows: — “The Electors of each of the Said Nino Ridings shall elect One Councillor, “This Special Oder shall take effect on and after the 18th day of October, 1920.” | And Public Notice is befeby also given that the said resolution will lie submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Said Waimea County Council to be held at the County Office, Nelson, on Thursday, the Bth day of_ July* 1920, for confirmation as a Special Order. r , <A full copy of the said resolution, including a Schedule showing the altered Boundaries is deposited at the Office of the Waimea County Council, Nelson, where it lies open to the in-: spection of the Public during Office hours, until the Said meeting shall be held.
