It is now stated that the drought is dehnitely bl ° ken ‘' SYDNEY, Juno U Bain, which is officially described as the best since the commencement of the drought, swept the greater part of the State, the falls in ninny parts being described as torrential. The forecast for the Royal visit is not hopeful as another extensive disturbance is’reported, due during the next 48 hours, causing a return ot unsettled' and rainv weather. (Rec. 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY. Tins Day. The weather is again line, but cold.
