W. Best, Prov, (4.At., spoke highly of the. services rciulm'ed the Lodge hy Bro. Fairey, and wished him long years of life to 'enjoy many happy _ Fours of renose i-a the handsome chair, which wou'd serve to remind, him of the esteem and affection in which lie was held by the me'mbers. Graham spoke in support of the remarks of the Grand Master,, while .several members of the Lodge gave instances ol the worthy spirit -.shown by Bro, Fa-trey in carrying out his duties. Bro. hclevass, who came from over Spooner’s Range specially to bo present, instanced the attention given‘by Bro. Fairey in looking after'the interests of the members residing out of the district, and Bro. Di-sluer stated that the invitation to .members to contribute towards the pre■sont had met with -a whole-lxoai ted resnonse. Bro. Fairey feelingly thanked the members for their spencLd gift ami the speakers for their kind remarks. He had always tried to do his duty to the. members, and had been particularly on.vefid to oeo that members did pot get had .on the books.
