GENERAL BIRDWOOD
- (United Press Association) DUNEDIN, This Day General Birdwood left for Invercargill this morning. He was accorded a civic reception on Saturday afternoon. He laid the foundation' stone of the R.S.A. memorial club. Pie was welcomed by the Overseas Club. Yesterday he visited soldiers in hospital.
