The Labour Conference decided in view of the monopoly in the production and distribution of woollen goods that the State be requested to establish woollen mills _or alternatively empower muncipalities to ,do so. It also instructed’ the Labour Party to repeal the soldiers! preference as the underlying principle was iniquitous and impractiblQ.
