NORTH V. SOOTH DISPUTE REPORTED SETLEMENT (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Australian ft N.Z. Cable Association). (Rec. Feb. 21, 8.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 20. The New York Times Washington correspondent reports that it is expected that a virtual agreement will be reached between North and South China. A final conference for a settlement of difficulties will probably be held at Shanghai shortly. It is understood that both the Pekin and Canton Parliaments will dissolve and a new Parliament, which will sit at Pekin, will be elected and that the Vice-Presidency of China will he filled by the election of a Southern leader. Demobilisation of a large part of the forces will also he carried out.
