TILLY ABD APPOINTED BIOLOGIST, The announcement woe made, by the Chairman of thb .Oa/wthabii Trustees (the Bishop, of Neteon) at the does of the lecture in the School of Music last evening that Dr. Tillyard had; been appointed to take charge of _ tbe biological department of the Institute. Amid great applause, the Bishop announced that Dr. Tillyard had been appointed to take charge of the biological department of the Institute. Sydney ; is a Chxnsp AfedaUist of the Linnean Societv; atidi McCleay Research' Fellow in the Umver r pity of Sydney. It is not vet known when Dr. TiUyard will be aWo to take up hig new duties.
