For the second time within a few days local trains hUve been greatly delayed through. mishap .0 to the engine". East evening the 4.30 train-from town, had to remain at Stoke for some time owing to ngme umuM- "lemponry repairs were effected, and the train proceeded on to Richmond; but as there had been tithe? troul e and as the task of completing the journey under temporary repairs might be beyond; the engine, word was sent to Nelson, and a relief engine was despatched. The inward Glenhope train wa s also, delayed l about an hour, portly through the engine developing a “hot box” and partly through the trouble with the upvtrain..
