The weather is l line after a night’s ram. The course improved 1 , but is stilt heavy. Gladful was the favourite in the hurdles and ran prominently, but was unable to last against Algous. Biplane was scratched fop the All Aged Stakes, Wolaroi kas favourite, but Greenstead cleverly beat the two champion weight for age horses. Snub, ridden by O'Shea, ran in the Cumberland Stakes, but never hit the front. Poitrel won as he liked. Results•-

Second; Hurdles; Algous, 9.10, I; Moutmvood, 9.0, 2; Gladful, 12.1, 3. Also started ; Jack Kice and Uoonaugledene. Thedatter and Gladful made tie most o the running, but Algous ea-iiy-swamped the opposition in the straight and. won by eight lengths. Time 5.1. j All Aged Stakes : Greenstead, 90, 1;; Wolaroi, 9.1 \2: Celigue, 9.1, 3. Only starters. Greenstead raced from Cefgno and Wolaroi. On entering the straight the order was Cetigne, Greenstead, \Volaroi, but at the distance Greenstead came away and won by threequarters of a length. Nine 1 started. Sweet Rosaloou and Yarraldool ’ made the most oUthe running. Sweet Rosaloon was first into the straight, but , Shapely overhauled her and won by a i lengh and a-half. Time, 1.301*.
