RETURNED SOLDIERS’ PAY.
A COMPLAINT. (United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, May 19. ■Delay in the payment of returned soldiers was alleged at a meeting of the Patriotic Association to-day, complaint being made that the Patriotic Association had undertaken the support of men .in many cases while they wche prevented from making grants against the men’s pay, accounts. The meeting decided to write to the Minister, for De‘fence, urging that the men he paid regularly, in order to avoid inconvenience, caused by delay in the receipt by them of payments due. , •
