‘ AN ARREST. (United Press Association.) OAMARU, Thi* Day. The perpetrator of the bank robbery at Milton on 30th ApGl wa s arrested here by Constable Palmer to-day. His name is Victor Keen, a horse trainer at j Milton. News of the robbery wa c received- here at 9 a.m., and the arrest I wa* made at noon, Une £lO note was j cashed at the railway station last even- ! ins-; and another attempted negotiation to-day wa., intercepted by the constable who made the arrest before the note reached the bank; hut the note had already been passed through three hards, r- ‘ DUNEDIN, -This Day. j • Victor James Robert Keen, who was brought from Oamaru, was charged at the Police Court this morning with breaking and entering the Milton post i office and savings bank, and stealing ! about £SOO. He was remanded till Frida v op bail. The amount now recovered is £416.
