The area covered by the new .field is very extenisive. The outcffoo and boring - enow at least thirteen million tons of\<M«&m sight—sufficient supplier for 20 yeiirsT The mine is three miles from Bunanga station, the country is flat, and there are, no engineering difficulties in ; |bhe way of railway construction-.' A resolution was passed that in view of the fact that the Point ’ Elizabeth Mine i«. practically .worked.; out that there is a serious shortage iri the ; Dominion, supply, and that coal is. at.-.fa-mine prices, the Government be urged to proceed with the development of the Ni”e Mile searin . ; ‘. • The resolution will be forwarded, to the acting-Premier and Minister of Mines.
