F. M. B. FISHER COMPETES,

LONDON, April 12. In the Queen’s Covered Court championships the open singles third round, Gerald Patterson (Victoria) beat Mr F. M. B. Fisher (New Zealand), 7—6, b—j, 6—3. The winner gave a brilliant, hardhitting exhibition. „ .• ■ A titanic struggle, the result causing the greatest surprise, was the' victory oi F. M. B. Fisher and Major Arthur Lowe over S.
