NAPIER, April 30.
The Anglican General Synod opened to-day. Members, were accorded, a civic reception by the Mayor. After the roll-call and prayers the Primate read his address- rind ’ the-usual sessional committees were appointed. To-morrow is a quiet dfayv with a missionary meeting in the evening.
