It has been the driest April for many years, 1910, with 53 point®, being the next lowest. For the. four months of this year the rainfall has totalled 4.77 inches (January being responsible for 3.05 in. of the total), while for the first four months of 1918 the abnormal total of 18,53 in. was reached.
