SOLDIER INJURED.

WELLINGTON, April 30. While the Taiimi was at' Colon, Panama, a serious accident befell 22034 Private H. J, Irvine. During a journey on the Cristobal railway, Irvine had the misfortune to fall from the train and received seriou* injuries to his leg. He was removed to a hospital, where upon examination it was fouil-cl nCCG-SSflVy to amputate the limb. Private Irvine" wa--* left at Cristobal, where lie is reported to be making a good recovery.
