According to these reports, parties of American and Australian experts who visited the Pacific river in 1013 and 1914 discovered evidences of extensive oilfields, extending for folly miles. In one place oil was bubbling Horn the rocks, and the river Covered for miles with crude oil. The discoveries were reported in 1014 to the Federal Government, which however, up to the present decline* to rilftke any announcement on the sub jeet.
