WELLINGTON, «his Day. . The new pay and allowances for the New Zealand - Defence Forces were announced to-day. They involve >ubstac tial incerases for officers of all arms of the service, thus placing the New Zealand officers on a more equal footing with those serving in other of the Empire’s forces.:' , .
