Russell) regarding The ; matter of considering the claims of s*-’ R plicants for soldiers’ bursaries. In-view of the immediate opening v pf university terras I would be glad to know if your association will assist the council by reporting, firstly as to the suitability of the applicants for the, course selected,and secondly the financial position, of the applicant and of the parent or guardian. In order to assist your association each applicant will present himself to your sub-committee with a medical certificate and report from the Registrar of the University oi from the beadmaster, together with a statement of Im financial position, with endorsement .by parents as to the extent they will t>e able to help the applicant.
